Just today I discovered that the fruit from the tree of good and evil, as referred in Genesis, the first book of the Bible is not an apple.

Amazing.

It proves that we believe what they tell us, be it truth or not. The Bible does not say that the tree of good and evil is not an apple, however it doesn’t say it’s not a fig either.

So much so, the famous illustrator Dürer did use an apple in his illustrated Bible, however Michelangelo used a fig on his even more famous Sistine chapel ceiling.

What is the truth then?

My answer: truth is what you believe.
