I witnessed a massively competent sales guy who presented his product perfectly in the first 3/4 of the meeting.

However, the last 15 minutes were a disaster. Instead of stopping when his homerun hit, he continued talking. Besides offering his main product he started offering some petty services that were downgrading the importance of the initial presentation.

To top it off, he even offered his client adaptation of his own service according to the needs of the client without knowing the needs.

It was sort of, we’re great, but we’re also desperate. Buy us, cuz we don’t have a clue about the greatness of our product. All that I have told you in the first 3/4 of the meeting is less important than our great pleasure of being your slaves in the future.
